Since April 2003, KOCH is certified for the production of shackles up to grade 10, with a capacity of up to 50 tons, as per NBR 13545 Standard. The shackles have been certified by Bureau Veritas, after having passed the necessary tear and fatigue tests.
They are used in port and oil petroleum industry activities, both on shore and off shore.
Koch continues to develop studies on shackles of higher tonnage, in agreement with FINEP and Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul.
